Lisa is originally from Greenville, SC. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology & Audiology from UNC Greensboro in 1992. She earned her Master’s degree in Audiology from the University of Tennessee in 1995 and a clinical Doctorate in Audiology in 2016 from the University of Florida. Helping people with hearing loss and their families communicate more easily and effectively is her goal.
Lisa has worked as an audiologist in Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina. Most recently, she worked in Rock Hill with ENT & Face. Lisa has provided audiology services to the Chesterfield County School District for 15 years.
A resident of Fort Mill since 2006, Lisa is married to Thomas Pool. They have two children, a daughter in high school and a son in middle school.
Connie is originally from Wilmington, NC. She received her Bachelors degree from NC State University in Sociology in December 1982 and an elementary school teaching certificate from Meredith College in 1983. She earned her Masters degree in Audiology from the University of Virginia in 1986 and a clinical Doctorate in Audiology in 2007 from the A.T. Still University. At San Francisco State University, Connie completed 30 hours of graduate work in Gerontology including research on the relationship of hearing loss and aging presented at the Gerontological Society of America national convention. Preventing and minimizing hearing loss is one of Connie's areas of passion. She is equally dedicated to helping individuals communicate more easily regardless of their financial situation.
Connie has worked as an audiologist in Texas, Florida, Virginia, California and is currently licensed in North and South Carolina. Best known for the 11 years she was the audiologist at the Speech and Hearing Center in Rock Hill, she currently works as a fee basis compensation and pension examiner with the VA in Columbia and Winston-Salem, in addition to Lancaster Hearing Center. Connie is currently the only audiologist in Lancaster certified by the American Board of Audiology which requires continuing education beyond state licensing requirements. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
A resident of Fort Mill since 1995, Connie married Steve Matthews from Michigan in 2010. She has two children, Carrie who is a graduate student at the University of Maryland working on a career in astrophysics and Charlie who is living his dream as a musician.
